Of course, I’d have to include a recipe for my namesake spirit! Suze is a bitter, based on the aromatics of Gentian, with a relatively low ABV. It’s the perfect alternative to a classic amaro in a spritz. The gentle heat of ginger lifts the aromatics just perfectly. The perfect summer sip.

White Negroni Sbagliato

Ingredients

• 30ml Suze
• 15ml Ginger Liqueur (I use King’s Ginger)
• 90ml Prosecco
• 30ml Soda Water
• Golden Raspberries & Ice to serve.

Instructions

1. Build the serve in a rocks or spritz glass over ice, beginning with the Suze and Ginger Liqueur. Take care to pour the Prosecco over a bar spoon to prevent foaming. Finish with the soda, give everything a gentle stir and garnish with golden berries. Serve with a side of sunshine.
